Enroll Your Child

SRVUSD Enrollment Corner

Welcome to the San Ramon Valley Unified School District!

We look forward to enrolling your student in the school district. There are 3 steps to complete our enrollment process, more detailed information is provided below.

If you are enrolling your new student to attend SRVUSD in the current school year, many of our elementary school sites are reaching their capacities, resulting in late enrollees being assigned to other schools in our district as space permits. Therefore, please make every effort to complete your enrollment process early. If your child is overflowed to another school in the District, staff will keep your child on a waitlist and call you during the school year if space becomes available.

Also, please know that the San Ramon Valley Unified School District does not provide transportation (school buses). Transportatoin to and from school is the responsibility of each family. Wheels provides equal access to a variety of safe, affordable, reliable public transportation routes including County Connection. Traffix is an additional transportation program, serving several schools within SRVUSD. Families are also encouraged to set up carpools, ride bikes, and/or walk to and from school, when possible.

New TK and kindergarten enrollments for the 2020-21 school year are now open. The online enrollment application for new students for grades 1-12 for the 2020-21 school year will open March 2nd. School sites will begin receiving enrollment documents for these students beginning March 3rd. The first day of the 2020-21 school year is August 11, 2020. We continue to accept new student enrollments for the current, 2019-20 school year.

Be advised that you must be a current resident in the SRVUSD school boundaries and provide proof of residency prior to enrollment approval. Students younger than age 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete the enrollment process. Here is an enrollment check list to assist you with our process.

3 steps to complete our enrollment process:

(Please note that the enrollment process is not complete until district staff have received and reviewed the required enrollment documents)
  1. Gather your required enrollment documents
  2. Complete and submit the online enrollment application. If you are enrolling for the 2020-21 school year, you will see that the online application will list the school year as "20-21 New Year". Parents enrolling for the current 19-20 school year, please select "19-20 Current Year".
  3. Bring your enrollment documents to your resident school office staff. For elementary enrollments no appointment is needed. For middle and high enrollments, please contact your resident middle or high school registrar to schedule an enrollment appointment.
