Eureka Math is the core math curriculum for Elementary students.

Mid- March- SRVUSD emails families regarding how and why to take the placement exam. (Link to 2022 Letter)
Mid- to Late April- The exam window opens for students to take the placement exam virtually.
Late April to Early- Families declare placement for 6th grade math and follow up with any required next steps if advancing.
May 3-10 - Link added for registration for summer Math Advancement Program for current 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students (incoming 6th-8th students).
May 16-July 25- Students enrolled in MAP must complete course work.
August- Students are placed into appropriate course based on completion of MAP.
The College and Career Ready pathway for middle school mathematics includes Courses 1, 2, and 3 from the California Framework for Mathematics and the Common Core State Standards.
Students enrolled in Courses 1, 2, and 3 can access Springboard Mathematics in the SRVUSD portal.
There are multiple advancement opportunities in middle and high school for students wishing to advance in math, although it is not required to do so to reach higher level mathematics in high school.

- SRVUSD does not offer summer math courses for advancement. Students wishing to advance may consider Summer Advancement via Outside Institutions.
- Core Curriculum for Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 is Big Ideas Mathematics which is available to students in the SRVUSD portal to students enrolled in these courses.
