Questions:

  1. The current RFP posted specifically states, “Routing and switching equipment will be installed by the District – do not include installation labor in any pricing.” However, this does not call out installation/configuration of Access Points. Would the district like to see pricing for the implementation of the Access points? We do not need any configuration or implementation of the access points - we will do that in house.
  2. Is any other implementation, configuration, testing, or installation required that is not already stated in the RFP?  We just need the services stated in the RFP - inventory and verification that components are certified as fully operational.
  3.  Would it be possible for you to send a revised BOM, or a breakout, that indicates the equipment to be quoted by chassis as opposed to line items for the Local Area Network Equipment RFP #795? You may find the original BOMs we used to build the final list of materials here.  This should show how the items are linked to the products.  However be advised the spreadsheet provided as part of the RFP is the official list and any bids should use that document.  The list linked in this answer may not be 100% accurate in terms of quantity and parts requested.  It is merely provided as a guide.
  4. You'll have to sort our which component goes into which switch since the part numbers given does not fit into the configuration of the required switches in the list of equipment. Or let us know if would like us to quote on the part numbers mentioned in the attachment “Attachment A: RFP 795LAN Equipment?” Please see the answer above in Question #3.
