SRVUSD Coronavirus Update 3/25/2020 | SRVUSD Schools Remain Closed thru 5/1
Posted 3/25/20

Today, seven Bay Area county health officers, in collaboration with their six county superintendents of schools announced a unified, regional decision to extend school closures through May 1, 2020 to slow the spread of COVID-19 to the maximum extent possible.  This decision means that SRVUSD schools will be closed, along with all other schools in the region, until May 1st. The SRVUSD still plans to observe our previously scheduled Spring Break from April 6 through April 10th. No remote learning will take place during Spring Break.

We want you to know that we have been preparing for this eventuality.  Beginning the week of April 13th, we will be changing the focus of our Remote Learning Plan from review to the teaching of new material while progressing on standards not previously covered. Throughout our closure, we will continue to provide meals for any student in need.

We will have a comprehensive update for you next week, as we continue to prepare for this phase of our closure. We know you continue to have questions and we are committed to keeping you updated on things like grading, graduation, other spring events, advanced placement testing, athletics and field trips as we receive further national, state and regional guidance and directives.
