Invitation to Participate: Transforming the SRVUSD Grading and Assessment Culture

During the 2019-2020 school year, the SRVUSD formed a Grade Reform Committee to improve our district’s grading and assessment culture.  Some of the ideas we are exploring are:

  • How can grades be more accurate and meaningful to students and their learning?

  • What type of feedback motivates and supports student learning?

  • What kind of assessments truly allow students to gauge where they are in their learning?

This is a multi-year effort, and the committee wants to bring the parent and student stakeholders into the conversation.  We invite you to participate in this two-part introduction.  Please register for and attend both sessions.

Session I: Tuesday, April 13th, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
