SRVUSD High Schools Offer PSAT During the School Day
Posted 8/28/19

In an effort to increase college readiness for all students, the SRVUSD high schools are once again offering PSAT testing during school hours to all students in grades 10 and 11. PSAT testing will take place at each high school, during the school day, on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Bell schedules will be altered on testing days. Schools will be sending an email to all families notifying them of the updated schedule.

The PSAT is a preliminary test taken by students to help them practice for the SAT. For grade 11 students, the PSAT also serves as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. For more information on the PSAT, please go to the College Board website on PSAT.

The District is committed to offering the PSAT to all 10th and 11th grade students regardless of ability to pay. However, there is a cost associated with taking the test, and each school may seek voluntary contributions to help cover the cost.
