Air Quality Advisory - UPDATE
Posted 11/9/18

Dear SRVUSD Staff and Parents,

According to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, the air quality remains at unhealthy levels. In order to ensure the safety of our students and staff, for today, Friday, November 9, the District is cancelling all indoor and outdoor physical activities, both during school and after school, including all CIF related practices, games and scrimmages. The District is also cancelling all indoor and outdoor athletic practices, games and scrimmages scheduled to be played on home fields in the SRVUSD for Saturday, November 10.

The North Coast Section, CIF has cancelled tonight’s California High School football game and Saturday’s San Ramon Valley High versus Monte Vista High football game. Both have games have been tentatively rescheduled for 7 p.m. on Monday, November 12th.

If there is a scheduled away activity, it will be up to the home site to determine if the playing conditions are safe.  The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.

You can stay up to date on the current air quality by visiting the BAAQMD website  http://www.baaqmd.gov/ or check https://www.airnow.gov/.
