SRVUSD Community Notification - Unverified Threat Related to Cal High School

Today, San Ramon Police and the FBI received a report about an anonymous message posted online threatening the California High School campus tomorrow, Thursday, September 6, 2018. Law enforcement officers are investigating the posting. No suspect has been identified, and although the post was anonymous, the FBI have been able to link the IP address to Europe. Out of an abundance caution, there will be an increased police presence on the CHS campus tomorrow.

We understand that this will cause concern in our community and we want to reassure you that we are working very closely with police. The safety of our students and staff are a top priority at the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. If the threat is in any way deemed credible, we will make sure to notify the community right away. Protecting our students and staff takes precedence above all else.

For complete information, please see the attached letter to the community.
